Kommunalkredit Public Consulting, which has had many years of experience with climate protection projects in Austria and abroad, is in charge of the operational management of Climate Austria. A steering committee fulfils a supervisory function with regard to project selection and the allocation of resources. In order to ensure transparency, all the activities of Climate Austria regularly undergo external evaluation. The activities of Climate Austria are supported by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management. In the area of voluntary compensation for CO2 emissions caused by air travel, Climate Austria cooperates with Austrian Airlines.
