Energy-Saving Measure in a Bakery
This bakery decided to replace its existing baking apparatus with modern, energy-optimised equipment which has lower radiation heat loss and better heating efficiency compared to conventional bakery ovens. The heat-up time, previously two hours each day, has now been reduced to 45 minutes. Due to the fact that the consumption of fuel oil is 35% lower than before, the bakery now avoids 325 tonnes of the greenhouse gas CO2 per year.
